Federico Chiodaroli
I am Federico, Milanese and adopted by Liguria, a mountain lover but with the heart looking to the sea. In fact, I live part of my life in Lombardy and part at the 5 Terre borders in the beautiful village of Levanto.
Graduated in Building Engineering, I worked for years on energy saving and human footprint reducing, while respecting the environment. Always fond of the wildest nature and uninhabited lands, however, I have not stopped studying the mountains and the cohabitation of men in this beautiful natural environment.
As a Nature Interpretive Guide & Tour Leader I try to reconnect hikers to the world to which we belong and that too often we take for granted, living experiences as immersive as possible, convinced that as Walter Bonatti said: “The first form of pollution, from which all the consequences derive, is the one we carry inside our soul”. I am a convinced ecologist and a supporter of a balanced and respectful coexistence between man and nature. I practice many outdoor sports such as surfing and snowboarding and I am passionate about explorations of the beginning of the 20th century, a period when men had so much to explore of this world, a period that is actually still relevant if it is true that the real discovery is ourselves.
The lands in which you will find me more often are the Val Grande, the Cinque Terre and the Gargano National Parks with naturalistic, enogastronomic and historical-cultural offers.
